DXBenchmark is Kishonti Informatics' latest 3D benchmark solution for DirectX API supporting Windows 8 on ARM and Intel architectures. Based on Kishonti Informatics’ highly popular OpenGL (ES) benchmark family of GLBenchmark, DXBenchmark implements comparable metrics via Microsoft’s Direct3D. This close relation makes apple-to-apple comparison between these graphic interfaces possible, as the content used by both applications is the same. Since the new benchmark includes the same high level gaming content and low level measurements, performance comparisons are more accurate than ever.
Microsoft DirectX is a group of technologies designed to make Windows-based computers an ideal platform for running and displaying applications rich in multimedia elements such as full-color graphics, video, 3D animation and rich audio. DirectX includes security and performance updates, along with many new features across all technologies that can be accessed by applications using the DirectX APIs.
