Kishonti Informatics, the worldwide leader of mobile performance benchmarking has announced general availability of GLBenchmark 2 Frameplayer Corporate Edition. GLBenchmark 2 Frameplayer is a special version of the widely used GLBenchmark 2 OpenGL ES 2.0 benchmark application which allows hardware developers to select a number of frames to render.

Classical benchmark renders as many frames as possible during a specified time and measures fps. Hardware developers use emulation to test the speed and quality of their upcoming product, using classic benchmark logic is not possible because of the slowness of the emulation. Instead, GLBenchmark 2 Frameplayer measure the time need to render specified frames which makes sense in emulated environment, it also saves rendered image to ensure rendering quality.

GLBenchmark 2 Frameplayer (Alpha) is availabe right now for GLBenchmark Development Partners. More information available at: www.glbenchmark.com.
